Our Civil Engineering team is growing and we’d like you to join us to help us broaden our research themes and expand our teaching activities. Housed in the new National Infrastructure Laboratory, we inspire hundreds of students every year to explore their strengths and open up a wealth of career opportunities. She has developed new teaching at undergraduate level and won a prestigious Fellowship to open up new research avenues –– while also taking a period of maternity leave. She now leads a research team of 6 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.

To apply, you’ll need a PhD, or equivalent professional qualifications, with research experience and a collaborative approach to working across research areas and disciplines. It’s not essential that you have teaching experience, but you must have the confidence and presence to inspire students –through both group lecturing and one-to-one mentoring.
