We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Senior Physiotherapist in Critical Care. Our CCU is a regional trauma centre including trauma, surgical, medical, neurosurgical and spinal cord injury and lends itself naturally to innovative ways of working. It is supported by an experienced team which includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists and therapy technicians. The Critical Care therapy team work as part of a wider, dedicated multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity to help build further clinical expertise to enhance and broaden respiratory and rehabilitation skills.


This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden their clinical skills. Supervision will be provided by the Band 7 Therapists and Principal Therapists and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.


The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and the post works within a 7 day shift system which will include weekend, late shift, Bank Holiday and on call working.
