Job Description Legal Counsel – Regulatory
DMJ is delighted to partner with a well-known home and motor insurance provider to aid their search for a legal counsel. This is a newly created role joining the dynamic and well-established legal team within a fast expanding and diversifying business.

This role will report into the Head of Legal – Financial Services, a highly committed people manager who is dedicated to supporting talent with continual support and training.

Opportunity to lead on key commercial projects at both B2C and B2B level.
Offering day to day legal guidance for new business and product ventures, using a practical and business – orientated approach.
Liaising and collaborating with the Group Risk and Compliance team on regulatory matters.

4+ years PQE, including at least 2 years within an in-house financial services environment.
~ Strong experience advising FCA regulated businesses in the drafting and negotiation of various regulated commercial contracts.
~ Comprehensive knowledge of insurance underwriting and regulated financial services products, including consumer credit and hire.
