Telemetry Field Engineer
77 (depending on experience) + 25 days hols + Welfare Day + 8 BH + Pension + Company Van
To support the delivery of a wide variety of Yorkshire Water projects within a multidisciplinary team covering a range of activities on Yorkshire Water (YW) sites related to instrumentation, telemetry and treatment processes. Includes manging sub-contractors on behalf of YW.
Field based role, working on YW sites undertaking site surveys and managing sub-contractors.
Ensure that the technical content of all work carried out is correct and completed in accordance with agreed timescales and scope.
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
Creation and review of risk assessments and method statements.
Commissioning and fault-finding on site processes
Good electrical background, understanding of 18th Edition Regs.
Water Industry knowledge
Computer literate and able to use various MS office applications
Confined Space trained - desirable
Minimum HNC in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline or equivalent
Personal Qualities:
Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical solutions
Take responsibility for personal development and enable and support the learning of others
Able to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues and contractors.
