Financial Management Team We are looking for an enthusiastic management accountant to come and join our restructured and ambitious Financial Management Team. As a team we believe in providing an excellent service to our fantastic frontline services and the patients we serve, and we have a focus on continuous improvement. Main duties of the job You will join a supportive team and receive full training on all aspects of the role. As part of providing an excellent financial management service to the organisation the successful candidate will support in the preparation and monitoring of monthly management accounts and provide high quality reports and advice to budget holders. skills for the role are therefore in the areas of financial control, financial management, IT, and communication. The successful candidate must either be AAT qualified or demonstrable relevant knowledge and expertise in a financial management role and be studying towards a professional CCAB-approved accountancy qualification. At interview you will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and possess a strong willingness to learn. You will need to be a team player with initiative, have a positive attitude and be able to manage your workload to meet the demands of our operational services. Training will be provided on the finance systems used. - AAT qualified or demonstrable knowledge, experience, and expertise in a financial management role or studying towards a professional CCAB-approved Finance qualification

- Extensive knowledge of computerised financial accounting systems is essential, as is a proficiency in the use of spread sheets, together with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Experience of working with budget holders and providing a high quality customer focused service.
- Possess excellent analytical skills to enable detailed interpretation of financial and statistical data.
- Working knowledge of Oracle.
- Extensive experience of budgeting systems and forecasting gained within a large, complex financial environment.
- Day to day supervision of staff, including performance reviews.
