We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Design Engineer to join the team in Reading. In this role, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of innovative design solutions across various projects. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet technical requirements, budget constraints, and project timelines.
Lead the design and development of complex engineering systems, components, and products.
Utilise advanced design tools and methodologies to optimise product performance and efficiency.
Conduct detailed feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including R&D, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
