Do you want to make a difference to the quality of life of wheelchair users? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated senior therapist to join the team. This role will suit someone who is looking for a rewarding challenge that combines the need for dynamic clinical leadership and service development.

The role will support the delivery of an innovative ‘post Covid-19' and beyond plan in order to provide quality service user focused outcomes for adults and children with complex mobility, posture and pressure needs.

The role: • deputising for the clinical lead • responsible for using advanced clinical skills in the assessment of adults and children, and in provision of complex wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories • provide guidance for and supervision of junior staff in ensuring quality of a clinical service, working in partnership with local voluntary sector and statutory services, ensuring we deliver our vision of a “Chair in a Day”. • as a qualified therapist with strong people skills, you will be responsible for driving the quality of frontline services to our service users.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to balance their experience of managing a customer focused service with a clinical caseload. Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills, combined with the ability to manage a varied workload, are essential for this exciting position.

About you: • current HCPC registration OT/PT • previous experience of working as an occupational therapist/physiotherapist with patients with long term or deteriorating medical conditions • experience of staff supervision • previous experience of assessing for wheelchairs and/or postural equipment is essential • current full UK driving licence is essential
