GSL Education Kent are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to join a reputed and supportive secondary school in Medway. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT (Early Career Teacher) looking to develop their career in a dynamic and forward-thinking school.

As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will help to inspire students to develop a passion for the French language and culture, preparing them for their GCSEs and A-Levels. Your role will involve both the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive lessons, promoting language proficiency and cultural understanding.

French Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging French lessons in line with the curriculum for Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
Prepare students for their GCSEs and A-Level French exams, ensuring they meet the required standards.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and set achievable goals to help them improve.
Create an immersive language-learning environment, encouraging active participation in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
Promote an appreciation of French culture and language through creative and engaging teaching techniques.
Participate in extracurricular activities such as language clubs and trips to further enhance students' learning experience.

The Ideal French teacher Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with a strong subject knowledge of French.
Have experience teaching French to secondary students, ideally up to A-Level.
Be enthusiastic about French language and culture and able to convey this passion to students.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
