The Technical Project Manager at ThoughtsWin Systems plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions to our clients. Acting as a liaison between our clients and internal project teams, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining viable solution delivery plans, managing priorities, and overseeing the implementation of projects within the Agile Scrum methodology. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving project success, maximizing efficiency, and delivering innovative solutions that provide business value to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management:
    • Lead the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with internal project teams and clients.
    • Utilize Agile Scrum methodology to manage project priorities, sprint planning, and execution to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
  • Client Communication and Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and internal project teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication of project status, updates, and deliverables.
    • Proactively identify and address client needs, concerns, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Requirements Analysis and Solution Design:
    • Work collaboratively with clients to gather and analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and develop detailed project specifications.
    • Guide and collaborate with internal technical teams to design and architect solutions that meet client requirements and align with project goals.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Facilitate collaboration and communication among cross-functional project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability, empowering team members to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
    • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
    • Proactively address challenges and obstacles, making timely decisions and adjustments to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Quality Assurance and Delivery Excellence:
    • Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards, adhere to client requirements, and align with project objectives.
    • Oversee thorough testing, validation, and acceptance of solutions prior to client delivery, seeking feedback and making necessary improvements as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (minimum 8 to 10 years) as a Technical Project Manager or similar role, with a strong background in software development, data migration, digital modernization, AI, and product development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and experience managing projects within this framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Compensation
  • The range offered for this position is: $110-120K annually. The compensation offered within this range is determined by various factors specific to each candidate, such as their skills, qualifications, experience, and credentials.
  • Hybrid work structure with 15 days vacation, in addition to provincially observed holidays.
