Previous doctors in these posts have successfully entered training programmes in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and Acute Medicine specialities. You will join a well-supported and aspirational Emergency Department which has a strong focus on education and training. We will give you the opportunity to gain exposure and clinical management skills in pathologies which reflect the diverse local population. Whipps Cross Hospital has a strong reputation as a centre of excellence for various specialist services, including urology, ENT, ophthalmology, cardiology, colorectal surgery, cancer care and acute stroke care, and is the Frailty Centre for the Trust.

Medical knowledge commensurate with grade

The post holder will be required to work shifts and flexible hours including overnight shifts.
