As part of our tailor team at our own studio, you’ll be working on alterations and repairs of items from high-end luxury to the everyday customer.
Out in-house tailor team is made up of full-time employed tailors and freelance tailors. If you want more flexible work such as weekend, or part-time, or inconsistent or seasonal work etc. please apply for a freelance role.
Comfortable and capable using industrial machines such as overlocker and industrial irons
Knowledge of fitting garments, alterations, repairs, re-sizing and quality control
Knowledge of various fabrics, material properties and clothing construction
Knowledge of pattern cutting, hand sewing and garment decoration
Experience in hand sewing and finishing, including the final decoration such as attaching buttons and labels
Good written and spoken English skills
50 per hour, depending on experience and time commitment
Free tailoring and repairs through the SOJO app or web for up to 5 items per year
An environment which values each team member’s hands, heads and hearts and doesn’t seek people to join as a cog in a machine.
