We have a very exciting opportunity for a Clinical Director to shape the future at Carmel Veterinary Centre. This role comes with a varied caseload, mentoring colleagues, enhancing, and setting clinical and professional objectives to achieve best practice in colleague, patient, and client care. Working in this first opinion practice, day to day you would undertake a clinical role including surgery and consultations and play a crucial role in steering the practice towards excellence and growth together with our senior leadership team. We offer a balanced split between clinical and managerial duties, and we actively encourage and support leadership and development certificates. You’ll be split between both of our sites.

We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance, whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time role we are sure we can find the right rota pattern for you. A typical full-time role would involve working4 days per week, over 40 hours. Shifts are either 8.30am to 6.30pm or 9.00am to 7.00pm. One in 4 Saturday mornings 8.30am to 2.00pm. No OOH. Closed Bank Holidays and Sundays.

About us

Carmel Veterinary Centre is an RCVS Tier 2 accredited, VNTP, two-site small animal practice based in Wolverhampton. Our team is composed of 4 vets across our two sites, working alongside a knowledgeable and experienced team of 9 RVNs, SVNs, ACAs and receptionists. We have certified RVNs in feline nursing, nutrition, behaviour and Fear Free. We’re proud to say that 3 of our team are qualified mental health first aiders, ensuring that there’s always someone on shift to speak to. We’re kitted out with endoscopy, ultrasound, dental x-rays, full Idexx labs as well orthopaedic kit.
