We are looking for a Regulatory Relations Manager like you to:

• Work collaboratively within a team to centrally manage the supervisory relationships with the UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on behalf of the entire UBS Group, interacting with these regulators on a day-to-day basis and understanding their expectations and supervisory strategy
• Manage Global and UK-relevant supervisory meetings, reviews, submissions, ad hoc interactions and escalations in close partnership with relevant Business Divisions and Group Functions
• For part of the role, lead the "UK Regulatory Relations Management Office" within the team, which is responsible for central coordination of (i) ad-hoc internal projects, (ii) managing efficient and effective internal reporting, Management Information and briefing requirements for senior, internal governance bodies, driving process improvements proactively ongoing; (iii) managing the team's internal communications & brand strategy and output; (iv) working closely with the Head of Governmental & Regulatory Affairs and Deputy Head of Regulatory Relations to support team connection, collaboration and synergies.
• Work collaboratively with more senior members of the team to provide strategic advice to the firms most senior Global and UK stakeholders on UK supervisory engagement matters
• Coordinate with global peers and stakeholders to proactively identify and manage common supervisory engagement themes and emerging risks
• Develop written briefings for members of our UBS Group Executive Board, Board of Directors and UK Executive Committee amongst others and ensure management are prepared for their regulatory interactions
• Manage note-taking and follow-up actions from supervisory engagements and track regulatory deliverables in line with UBS policies

Your team

You will be a member of our UK Regulatory Relations Team in London, reporting directly into the Deputy Head of Regulatory Relations UK. We are responsible for managing UBS's supervisory relationships with the PRA and FCA, and act as a central advisory function for UK and Group management on UK supervisory matters.

Our UK Regulatory Relations team also works closely with peer teams and colleagues in Switzerland, US, EMEA and APAC to coordinate and manage multi-regulator engagements and in coordination with other teams within Governmental & Regulatory Affairs (e.g. Governmental Affairs) to define regulatory engagement strategy for the UBS Group.

Your expertise

• Ideally at least 5 years' financial services industry experience, preferably working with clients, front office business stakeholders and/or on regulatory requests
• Very strong PowerPoint capabilities with a keen interest in establishing and managing brand design for internal communications
• Very well organized, self-motivated and detail-orientated, preferably with project management background
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, covering numerous topics and complex deliverables simultaneously under pressure
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to stakeholder expectations and clearly explain regulatory expectations to management
• Ability to constructively challenge and identify opportunities or greater efficiencies, providing creative solutions and ideas
