Fire & Security Role: Are you a Senior Small Works / Security Project Engineer overseeing installation, configuring, and commissioning CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms & Fire Systems?
23 days holiday + bank holidays
~ The individual will be responsible for mentoring and quality monitoring the work of the wider team whilst also undertaking more complex tasks themselves.
~ The individual will also take an element of responsibility in co-ordinating and ensure quality / compliance are achieved on the Security projects across the Installation department.
~ Experience in the industry, having undertaking both new and remedial installation works associated with the following:
~- CCTV
~- Mentor and assist with supervision of less competent team members.
~ Carry out surveys on customer premises when required.
~ Hold a clean driving licence.
~ You will be conversant with various British Standards and Codes of Practice relevant to Fire and
This will include knowledge of servers and networking with some working understanding of
Microsoft operating systems (2003, 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7 Windows 10).
Experience with a variety of switches and routers, wireless extenders, some experience with SQL, XML, MS Office would be a huge bonus along with experience on integrated systems, and client/server access control systems and conversant with IP/Analogue and digital security systems.
