Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist for our client , based in Wolverhampton. The role as Consultant Psychiatrist is a Full-time role (part time opportunities available), 37.We are seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to cover 17 beds in our Acute service. Role will be working with male and female patients. You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission, including contribution to the pre-admission assessments of adults of working age.
Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Registered Medical Officer and Aston University Medical Students, the service has strong links with other surrounding Hospitals within the region, providing the opportunity to network with other Consultants from different specialisms and service lines.
You must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of Psychiatry
Have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
You will have experience at Consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.
You will continue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for Psychiatry
25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays with length of service
You will have your own office and ample administrative support.
