We are recruiting for our first Art'otel in London A premium lifestyle hotel situated in the heart of the iconic Battersea Power Station development. Perched on the Electric Boulevard, the 164 keys Art'otel London Battersea power station sits in the heart of this newly energised neighbourhood, offering restaurants, bars, shops and galleries, amidst the eye-catching architecture that surrounds the historical Battersea Power Station.

This is a very exciting time to join the M&E Team at Art'otel Battersea Some key highlighted events to mention that have taken place recently include the annual pre-BAFTA party as well as many successful launch events held on the hotels 15th floor at JOIA

As our Meetings & Events Operations Manager , you will receive:

  • Salary: £32,000 per annum

The role of the Meeting & Events Operations Manager is to lead the day-to-day operation from an organisational perspective, whilst running a busy Meetings and Events department. The M&E Operations Manager will lead the Events Operations Team by supervising all full time and agency staff to ensure a smooth & efficient running operation.

We are looking for a M&E Operations Manager who:

  • Help guests and support guests to ensure their event is as expected and is a memorable day
  • Organises and schedule all Meeting & Events according to specific requirements
  • Will oversee and manage productivity of payroll, expenses, cost of sales, par levels and general stock control in line with financial procedures
  • Manages day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help improve team member’s performance
  • Will take responsibility for the successful running of all events
  • Has previous experience as an M&E Operations Manager or M&E Supervisor in a hotel
