is currently recruiting
x2 Transition Mentors (Nightshift) to supportyoung people aged 16-25 years who are homeless. Quarriers AYSS provide quality support and build professional relationships to enable young people to sustain their tenancy and reduce repeat homelessness.
As a
Transition Mentor
you will work with the young people while on nightshift when required providing advise and mentoring to ensure the young people feel safe and secure while supporting theirindividual needs. Some of the young people have emotional support needs and have experienced severe trauma in their young lives, therefore having the ability to listen and build strong trusting relationships with the people we support is essential to ensure they feel safe and heard. Quarriers are dedicated to

Working pattern:
Both Transition Mentor positions are permanent. The nightshift starts at 10pm -8am. 1st TM will work three nightshifts per week on a 3 week rolling rota. and2nd TMwill work two nightshifts per week on a rolling rota. Both postholders will be required to work 1 weekend in 3. Please note this is not lone working and another staff member will be on a sleepover shift to offer support if required. A premium rate of £11.88 is paid between midnight & 7am.

Compassion and kindness to support young people who are homeless.
Skills and ability to support young people who have experienced trauma in their young life.
Ability toapply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals .
