A brilliant opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing company, who we are supporting, in their search for a Maintenance Engineer, due to their continued success and growth within the company.

The Position of a Maintenance Engineer:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer, who is qualified and has a time served apprenticeship. We are looking for someone who has exposure of working the manufacturing industry, ideally the FMCG sector.

Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer:

* HNC / HND / ONC Maintenance Qualification (Time Served)
To have worked in some form of high demanding manufacturing industry, ideally within the FMCG sector or some high-pressured environment.

* Take on project work for line improvements.

* The ability to read engineering drawings.

* Good knowledge of PLC controls systems, including programming maintenance and fault finding - ideally Allen Bradley or Siemens

* To have had the experience of working upon PPM schedules - perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on existing systems

* Main Responsibilities of an Maintenance Engineer:

* Undertake the commissioning and installation of new plant equipment across the factory.

* Follow on site procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment and machinery.

* Liaise with external contractors whilst on site
