Apprentice Welder

We are seeking motivated and hard-working individuals to join our team as a Welding Apprentice. Successful applicants will gain the opportunity to join our outstanding team, and be trained in all aspects of fabrication.
Adhering to all Company Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.
Maintaining the Housekeeping of your working area.
Using overhead Cranes and Mobile Elevated Platforms where trained to do so.
You will be working for one of the largest fabrication projects in the UK, for a prestigious customer.
4 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above (which must include Maths and English Language).

Personal Qualities
The Pay Rate Structure is as follows (dependant on entry level, rates of pay are subject to the general pay review; Year 1 – Full time college only £6.Monday- Friday
~23 days Holiday plus statutory, rising to 25 days based on service.
~ Life Insurance.
~ Facility to buy and sell holidays.
~ Company sick pay scheme (based on length of service).
~ Pension in line with Auto enrolment.

Dependent upon entry level initially fulltime and thereafter day release. After Successful completion of the programme, this will lead to a Level 3 Apprenticeship under the Plate Welder Standard.
What is the expected career Progression on completion of the Apprenticeship
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity for employment and career progression as a Welder. The current salary for a Welder being £40,111 (plus the opportunity for overtime).
During the Apprenticeship (and if successful thereafter), there is continuous development within your trade; Further training will be required such as (the use of mobile cranes, mobile elevated platforms, and confined spaces), as you progress. For some, there will be the opportunity to progress on other career paths within the business.
