We are currently looking for an Apparel Sourcing and Production Manager to join our team at Vollebak. We are seeking a candidate who is looking for a new challenge within an exciting menswear brand and possesses a strong background in a similar role. Key Responsibilities: Create and lead critical path across Apparel. Create and implement innovative & cost-effective sourcing strategies that incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry. Allocation – Selection based on technical capability, volume, capacity, margin targets and quality performance. Lead and develop supplier relationships and integrate supplier expertise as appropriate to meet business strategy and deliver cost, timelines & process improvements. Handle supplier disputes and lead the business through supply chain challenges. Negotiate, align, and implement critical supply contracts, all in line with the sourcing strategy and with a focus on risk management. Create a framework in which Vollebak can initiate Master Service Agreements with key suppliers. Cost engineering (internally) and negotiation (externally) where necessary to achieve target margins based on forecast volume & allocated vendor. Production – Manage capacity planning, purchase orders and production tracking. Quality – Co-ordinate inline and end of line inspections with the support of garment tech, provide final approval or rejection and manage corrective action plan when necessary. Participation in cross functional meetings. Evaluate & track performance metrics within the existing pool of suppliers e.g. QC, returns, late deliveries. Manage raw material planning and greige booking. Manage all long lead-time fabric booking in line with bulk shipment schedule, handle MOQ and surcharge issues, document excess liability. Reporting – Maintain & upgrade internal delivery, quality and cost reporting. Administration – e.g. Create and manage buy plan, range grid, trackers, raise PO’s and other various duties related to all of the above. Create and lead critical path across Apparel. The Successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury apparel or sportswear environment. Leading global sourcing of apparel & accessories, including manufacturing methods, garment costing and critical path tracking. Strong knowledge of the performance fabric and trim market. Familiarity with using PLM systems. The ability to analyse significant amounts of data and extract meaningful insights. Excel skills required. Meticulous attention to detail. The ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail, be proactive and reactive, and be adaptable to change. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different countries and cultures. Ability to travel in Europe and Asia.
