Are you enthusiastic about supporting students and want to ensure they receive the best education possible? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for teaching assistants in the Bodmin, Wadebridge & Liskeard area to support students in their day-to-day learning.

You will be required to support the students in the class either in small groups or on and one to one basis, this will be helping them with tasks set by the class teacher. You may be required to plan additional work if you are working with the same students often and know their abilities or if a student is particularly struggling with a specific topic. It is important that you have a good understand of the primary curriculum and can confidently support students with their English and maths. We are looking for somebody who can be creative with learning and make it fun and engaging for students.

It is important for you to help the class teacher monitor the students progress by communicating effectively about what levels the students are working at and if there are any topics they are struggling with. Have previous experience working with children in any capacity
Be available 2-5 days a week, 8.30pm during term time.
Have or be willing to apply for a Child Workforce DBS which can be completed during the recruitment process.
