Welcome to Summergil House School We're seeking passionate Teachers to help children with Autism thrive. Located in Presteigne, our school offers a unique environment with 18 acres of fields, woodlands, a stream, lake, swimming pool, and sports hall. You'll support our students in both structured and unstructured settings, helping them reach their full potential. Join us in creating a safe, vibrant space where children can learn, grow, and build lasting memories.
Working as member of the education team you will play an active role in supporting the planning and development of programs that addresses the individual SEMH/ASDneeds of our children and young people. With support and guidance from the Head of Education, you will work across all areas of our curriculum to deliver high quality teaching and learning opportunities to SEMH/ASDpupils.
You will be required to set out individual learning pathways which support our pupil's potential to live more independently; developing academic, social, and personal skills; We are seeking to recruit a candidate with a proven track record in the delivery of specialist education to SEMH/ASDpupils. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues from across our other educational facilities.
Providing high quality teaching and learning opportunities;
Providing structured learning opportunities through effective Classroom management;
Using a variety of teaching approaches and activities to develop students learning.
To be a successful Teacher with Orbis Education and Care, youll need:
Qualified Teacher (QTS) or NQT working towards QTS;
Knowledge of a variety of learning and development skills applicable to young people with complex, severe learning difficulties;
Experience of liaising with parents and external agencies and facilitating their active involvement with the pupil;
This job role involves regulated activity with adults andchildren andrequires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
Eligibility for a Blue Light Card for additional discounts at a range of retailers;

Health Plan - after probation
