Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: 1 day a week onsite in Exeter Salary: Up to £70k + Generous benefits, pension, and bonus scheme Tech Stack: Azure, Terraform/Bicep, AKS We're proud to be partnering with a leading organization in their search for an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain their Azure cloud environment and supporting infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and the Internal Developer Platform. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep. Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines and GitOps for Kubernetes (AKS). Ensure security, compliance, and reliability across all platform services. Monitor performance and optimize costs using Azure and third-party tools. Collaborate with development teams to improve automation, delivery, and developer experience. Required experience Strong hands-on experience with Azure core and platform services (AKS, App Services, networking, storage, API Management). Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential, Bicep desirable) and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Proven Kubernetes (AKS) experience, including cluster operations, networking, RBAC, and GitOps workflows. Knowledge of observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Datadog/Grafana) and DevSecOps best practices. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers and SREs to deliver secure, self-service platforms. Understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Landing Zones and the Well-Architected Framework.
