We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor to join our team in Hull. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet customers: Establish rapport and understand their needs and expectations.
Assess vehicle problems: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, identify repair requirements, and accurately diagnose issues.
Prepare service estimates: Provide detailed and transparent estimates for repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer understanding and approval.
Communicate effectively: Keep customers informed throughout the service process, providing updates on progress and estimated completion times.
Manage service bookings: Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal workshop flow and customer satisfaction.
Process payments and invoices: Accurately handle customer payments and generate invoices, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Maintain strong customer relationships: Build trust and loyalty by providing excellent service and resolving any concerns promptly.
Contribute to team goals: Collaborate with colleagues in the service department to ensure smooth operations and achieve department targets.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
Strong technical understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using computer systems and service management software.
Valid UK driving license.
