What will you be responsible for?

As Schemes Supervisor, you'll be working within the Maintenance team, supporting them in ensuring that the delivery of routine and cyclic maintenance and resilience works is carried out to achieve programme and budgetary requirements

Your day to day will include:

  • Delivering both preliminary and detailed design programmes for the PPD client, coordinating build programme delivery, creating buildability reviews of proposed detailed designs with both Designer and sub-contractor
  • Developing build programme for acceptance by London Borough of Barnet, early contractor involvement (ECI) where instructed
  • Liaising with all stakeholders including but not limited to PPD, TfL buses, boroughs, network rail and emergency services etc.
  • Ensuring the team are producing and completing TM drawings prior to submission with all comments addressed from stakeholders, ensuring buildability is catered for such as safety zones, confirming the S61, PAA's, PA, TTRO's and TMAN are submitted in the timescales required by the client
  • Completion and sign off of construction phase plans, review of all risk assessments and method statements, programming of all surfacing, civils, lining and traffic management sub-contractors, maintaining compliance with SHEQ requirements and Tarmac / Kier safe operating procedures

This role of Schemes Supervisor is great for you if:

  • You are a great team leader that motivate and push others on
  • Have previous experience working on high profile contracts with highways knowledge and an ability to multitask and manage a portfolio of schemes, with good knowledge of Chapter 8 Traffic management and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Work - Specification for Highway Works
  • Hold NRSWA Supervisor, Lantra accreditation, SMSTS or SSSTS and can drive / hold a driving licence and have NEC form of contract experience
