This forward-thinking company develops technology for 5G networks. Their high quality connectivity solutions provide robust and secure communication services for mission-critical end applications.
Working remotely as part of an established friendly Agile team, you will contribute to the development of new features and functionality for the 5G Network Core. They place an emphasis on creating well designed, implemented, and tested software. This is a fully remote position with monthly office meetings, so might not suit everyone. Excellent C++ skills and good mathematical aptitude will be essential, as will an understanding of NGAP protocol or protocols of comparable complexity (S1AP etc.). A strong academic background with a 1st or 2.1 in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similarly applicable subject together with strong supporting A-level (or equivalent) grades. Demonstrably excellent coding skills in modern C++ versions, and familiarity with developing software under Linux
• Experience with software development best practice: Agile, Scrum, code reviews, automated test, version control, bug tracking, and static analysis tools.
