A Global bank based in London

Job Description

* This role is part of the technology project team which has responsibility for the execution of several initiatives relating to the wider bank.

* The Junior Project Manager will support the project by capturing business requirements, gaining an understanding of the desired outcomes, assessing potential issues, liaising with stakeholders, monitoring progress and highlighting potential risks and agreeing solutions, under guidance.

* There will be reports and presentations prepared and made to various forums and committees under guidance along with other administrative tasks.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years of project experience within the financial services or asset management industry
* Demonstrable technology/systems change experience.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to communicate complex concepts into simple language.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to prepare reports and presentations.
* Excellent experience of working with Microsoft Office tools - Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
* Interpersonal Skills:
o An effective communicator - able to navigate potential difficult situations when dealing with stakeholders.
o A good influencer - able to work with internal or external parties who may have competing deadlines and priorities, ensuring they are "bought-in" to the change.
o A "starter-finisher" - ensure that any task allocated is seen through to the very end and to a good standard.
o Ability to work accurately
