Location: North West Programme Duration: 2 years Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 4th of November 2024 and assessment days will take place on w/c 18th of November 2024. Graduate Programme; During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout. We're strong believers in continuous development here at Veolia and actively encourage and support everyone to keep going after you finish the programme. What will you be doing?
  • Working with experienced colleagues, particularly the estimators/quantity surveyors to assess project scope and viability against which they will develop project costs and support the development of tender content.
  • Take the initiative on working on Projects with our experienced Contract and Site Managers to develop operational knowledge of Infrastructure deconstruction.
  • Supporting the business in meeting contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Learn to progress the projects through their entire lifecycle, including feasibility, development, implementation and handover - This will involve scoping, designing, management of the supply chain and handover to the user.
  • Work directly with engineers and operators on the plant and support operational and maintenance activities.
  • Support shift teams in plant operation and learn site safety rules.
  • Get involved in Health, Safety, and Environmental routines and support HSE-themed project work based on environmental and safety legislation.
What are we looking for?
  • Full, clean UK driving licence (willingness to travel to other Veolia sites)
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant civil engineering or structural engineer discipline (to be achieved by September 2025).
