Our lasers find widespread use in a multitude of scientific and industrial applications worldwide.
Due to continuing growth, we require a Laser Test Engineer and a Laser Service Engineer to join our team, the applicant will be required to test laser systems in a laboratory production environment, and will be primarily responsible for optical assembly, test, characterisation, calibration, and documentation of a range of high-power diode laser test stations as part of production process.
Both these roles are predominantly 95% in-house production test and service engineering with some future national and internal travel to client sites.
Teamwork, high quality standards and excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The Laser Engineer must be able to work proactively, and independently whilst focused on deadlines, as this is a laser production role and not a laser development role.
Experience working with lasers would be advantageous or a solid electronic / mechanical service engineering role. 00pm on Friday, Competitive rates of pay and Holiday entitlement, Holiday Purchase Scheme, Employee Benefits Programme, Employee Assistance Programme, Company Contributory Pension scheme, Annual Company Discretionary Bonus scheme.
You must be eligible to live and work within the UK and possess a valid driving licence as the role requires occasional national and international travel to visit customers to either install and commission laser systems or repair lasers.
