**STUDENT Nurses need not apply as will not be considered on this vacancy. We are seeking to recruit band 5 staff nurses to join our teams on Ward 26/27 Gastroenterology, within the Responsive Care Group.


We work closely with the Emergency department, Emergency Admission Unit, acute medical wards and specialist teams to ensure our patients receive timely, safe and high quality care.
The role of a Staff Nurse is to support in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the staff nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care, delivered using a holistic, patient-focused approach, while ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.


As an additional skill within our Gastroenterology ward, our nurses care for patients with eating disorders, with close links to our local mental health unit. The skills you will gain will be to assess, plan and carry out care in order to help progress patients back to health


We have a highly skilled and experienced team within Gastroenterology and have an excellent band 5-development pathway for all new staff starting within the care group, making this the perfect learning environment for developing your skills.
