Technical Management – Equipment Engineer

Overview of the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and highly motivated Product Management – Equipment Engineers to join our dynamic team at Delkia. Our aerospace team aims to provide competent engineering support to a major local defense contractor. We are recruiting for several roles within the Subsystem Equipment teams. Candidates will need to obtain security clearance and work on-site when required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the supplier’s engineering program
  2. Ensure distribution of updated design specifications to the suppliers
  3. Liaison with procurement for technical advice and supplier liaison
  4. Attend supplier reviews (virtual and face to face) as required
  5. Review and process supplier technical documentation (DRL’s)
  6. Coordinate evidence to support Design Certification delivery
  7. Manage Change Applications through CCBs
  8. Process formal Change Proposals through to Change Approvals
  9. Attend internal progress and management reviews
  10. Support Certification Plan deliverables
  11. Facilitate Certification gate reviews with equipment CVE
  12. Facilitate and witness rig and flight test activities as required
  13. Support Physical/Functional Configuration Audits
  14. Advise on In-Service Fault Investigations and Queries
Qualifications & Skills

Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent in Aerospace or Systems Engineering. Experience in avionic engineering domain. Demonstrable experience and training of critically reviewing product-related regulations and standards. Expertise in ARP 4754, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-200, RTCA DO-254, and RTCA DO-330. In-depth understanding of the full product lifecycle and UK MoD customer acquisition processes.
