Job Description

  • Providing expert advice on regulatory issues to ensure the company is compliant with insurance industry regulations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify potential regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Overseeing the preparation of regulatory submissions and reports.
  • Advising on the legal aspects of new products and services.
  • Participating in the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and representing the company in any regulatory proceedings.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in insurance regulations and advising the company accordingly.
  • Offering proactive legal support and guidance to the company.

The Successful Applicant

A successful interim FS regulatory role legal counsel should have:

  • A strong background in legal counsel, particularly within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to effectively liaise with regulatory bodies.
  • A proactive approach to identifying potential regulatory risks and developing mitigation strategies.
