SPC Champion

a senior quality and process engineering role

working as part of a

global team

to implement a Statistical Process Control and Statistical Quality Control (SPC/SQC) system across all Group sites. Longer term, you will work closely with site leadership and key operations and engineering stakeholders to facilitate process capability reviews, and drive improvements based in SPC and SQC data, focused on reducing waste and the cost of poor quality. Key skills Degree qualified

in Engineering Six Sigma

Certified

Black Belt preferred Experience in quality engineering or process engineering in a manufacturing or engineering environment

aerospace industry background is desirable Demonstrated use of statistical tools including

SPC

and working knowledge of

DMAIC

problem solving tools such as

8D, FMEA Strong data analysis skills and in using

statistical software

such as Minitab Previous experience in leadership of projects and/or teams, a successful change agent able to engage and inspire new ways of working Happy to have a good degree of customer interface Strong team working and collaboration skills, able to work in a multinational project team and happy to travel in the UK and Europe as required A great opportunity for key involvement in a high profile and technically challenging project, from commencement to successful completion, helping to ensure the business continued success and further growth.
