Technology Solutions Architect

At Aviva, we are looking to transform the way in which we engage with our customers, and we are looking for experienced software solution architects to work with IT projects to deliver that transformation.
Primarily application and integration focused, but with knowledge of the underlining technical infrastructure that supports the solutions.
The current team are located across our offices in the UK, and we operate a flexible working model, coming in to one of our offices regularly (on average 2.Crafting solutions across Aviva’s IT applications estate, defining the overall solution architecture and system integrations that meet Aviva’s technology standards and our ambitions for availability, security, resilience and performance
Providing coaching, mentoring and training to less experienced Solution Architects as required
Providing leadership on key designs to ensure the long-term IT Roadmaps are followed as well as short term project needs
Performing early triage and shaping of IT initiatives to support investment decisions and initial delivery planning
Excellent design and architecture skills and experience of agile delivery methods

Financial acumen to support development of business cases and to inform key design decisions
Salary Circa £48,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
