As Technical Draughtsman, your role is key in assisting the design engineers and the engineering department in executing design processes from ideation to production.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include;
Assisting with the creation of engineering drawings; Assembly, manufacturing, General Arrangement and General Assembly Drawings for manufacture and fabrication.
Ensuring the drawing packages meets manufacturing, technical and project requirements whilst keeping safety and quality at the forefront of every decision.
test reports, operations & maintenance manuals, test documents, risk assessments and other documents as necessary.
Draughting 3D parts, assemblies and concept designs as necessary.
What will help you to be successful in this role?
You are proficient in Solidworks (preferred) or other Professional 3D Packages.
You have experience engineering drawings for manufacture.
You’re a team player, building solid working relationships with the surrounding team
