The successful day shift Mechanic will be responsible for the following duties:

Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using hand held data capture devices if applicable.
Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries.
Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.
IRTEC inspection training will also be offered.
Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm
Hourly pay rate: £19.00 + £2,000 JOINING BONUS
A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1&2) and working experience on either PSV, HGV, van, bus, coach, or car mechanics is advantageous.
A flexible approach to working hours.
A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
A basic vehicle electrical understanding is essential.
