If so, a career as a MET Technician might be the perfect fit for you As a MET Technician (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) Apprentice, you'll be diving into the heart of vehicle repair, from diagnosing issues to fixing mechanical, electrical, and trim components.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career as a Vehicle Technician with a view to becoming a fully trained Technician with an IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Damage Mechanical, Electrical and Trim.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to pursue a career as an MET Technician and aim to achieve full qualification as an IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Damage Mechanical, Electrical and Trim Technician.

Your journey as an MET Technician Apprentice:

  • Identifying and assessing vehicle faults
  • Preparing job cards and assessment reports to document findings
  • Safely accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components for inspection and repair
  • Skilfully removing and fitting non-structural body panels to restore vehicle to their original condition
  • Expertly removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Vehicle valeting

Qualities we seek in an Apprentice MET Technician:

  • No prior experience necessary- just a genuine passion for vehicles and the enthusiasm to learn
  • The ability to follow instructions with precision and dedication
  • A keen eye for detail with a can-do attitude
  • A minimum grade C or Grade 4 in English or Maths
