Our customer, a multinational technology company is looking for a Group Legal Counsel – Corporate & Finance for a 12 months contract role.
Job Description:
We are seeking a lawyer with experience working in a leading law firm or public company for a 12-month contract role.
This role will include working on Swedish corporate law, including areas such as corporate governance, incentive schemes, ongoing and periodic disclosures, annual reports, and general meetings. A solid understanding of stock exchange regulations, the Swedish Corporate Governance Code, and the self-regulatory framework for listed companies is essential. Experience in capital markets law and public company regulations will be highly beneficial.
The ideal candidate should be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritizing their workload. The position demands a lawyer who can work autonomously, demonstrate strong critical thinking, and exercise discretion and sound judgment. This role will involve dealing with sensitive issues and meeting tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Corporate and Finance Legal Affairs and will have numerous opportunities to engage with senior stakeholders at the C-suite and board level. Additionally, collaboration with various departments, including the Board Secretariat, Finance, and People Functions, will be an integral part of the role.
