Eventus Legal is seeking a Principal Solicitor to join an award-winning organisation that provides services to SMEs helping them thrive nationally. The incoming Solicitor will be providing advice and representation to the organisation's clients for employment tribunal claims. This is a permanent, full-time, position based in Manchester. The incoming Principal Solicitor will be assisting the organisation's clients when they receive employment tribunal claims, working in a dynamic and supportive team covering every aspect of cases, and responsible for the supervision of the trainee solicitors. Review Tribunal claims
* Provide Merits of claim
* Carry out preliminary advocacy in the Et by phone, virtual meeting or by phone
* Monitor the caseloads of the trainee solicitors and ensure they are progressing, perform weekly reviews
* Quality check and assess trainee solicitors monthly
* Provide coaching and mentoring to members of the Litigation team and highlight further training that may be required
Applications are sought from articulate and confident, experienced Employment Solicitors with experience in employment law and a minimum of 1-year PQE. They are offering a competitive salary dependent on experience along with additional benefits including:
