Job role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,(Apply online only)-£45,(Apply online only) DOE Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire Hours: 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday Job Type: Full Time, Permanent The Benefits Salary between £40,(Apply online only)-£45,(Apply online only) dependent on experience Overtime paid at time ½ 28 days holiday including bank holidays Pension Scheme Quarterly Bonus Scheme Joining a growing company The Role Carry out Preventative Planned Maintenance and reactive breakdowns within stipulated timescales to minimise production downtime. Assess and monitor the production equipment to ensure the systems are operating efficiently and effectively constantly Fault finding on CNC Machines. Repair Manual Cutting Machines Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner Carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding to diagnose potential issues or problems. Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies The Requirements Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential) Able read Electrical and Mechanical drawings Multi-skilled Electromechanical Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential) Working with and repairing Fabrication Booths (Advantageous) Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential) Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) – Advantageous Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous) Full UK Driving License required Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
