As the Embedded Design Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to guide our team of skilled engineers and contribute to the development of advanced defence technology. Job Title: Embedded Design Team Lead - Electronic Engineering

Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: Typically for this role you will work 3-4 days per week on-site.
Are you an Embedded Digital Design Engineer with team leadership experience and a desire to make a difference?
As the Embedded Design Team Lead you will be involved in the development of our growing portfolio of complex embedded digital systems. Your role will be leading the day to day line management of the team, identifying opportunities and driving process improvements while promoting a delivery focussed culture on some of the most exciting and challenging products and technology in defence today.
The role will require a blend of technical management, people management and project management so requires someone with a real passion and experience of managing teams, planning workload or bids and understanding and owning technical work packages.

Background in either Digital Hardware Design, FPGA Design (firmware), or Embedded Software Design.
Embedded digital design and modelling skills (e.g. partitioning of functional elements between software and FPGA, and modellinganalysing key performance aspects of the resulting design)
Project management - planning, budgeting and delivery mind set
