GoalPro is a technology company that specialises in recording footage and statistics of everyday footballers. We use this data to generate personalised player cards, highlights, stats, and leaderboard rankings, adding a social and competitive element to football. Our goal is to revolutionise the way football is experienced and to provide players with valuable insights and opportunities for growth.

Role Description

This is a remote role for a Computer Vision Engineer at GoalPro. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing computer vision algorithms and techniques to analyse football footage. Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and training models, optimising algorithms, and integrating computer vision technology into our platform.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Pattern Recognition, Computer Science, and Computer Vision
  • Proficiency in data analysis and machine learning frameworks
  • Ability to develop and optimise algorithms for real-time video processing
  • Solid understanding of data science principles and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the sports industry or with sports analytics is a plus
