About our Nursery
Busy Bees East Keswick, rated Good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 100 children and is situated in a purpose-built nursery with stunning views of the countryside, providing the perfect backdrop for your childs ongoing development. We create an ideal setting for learning for babies through to preschoolers, offering a nurturing environment where every child can learn, flourish, and thrive. Our East Keswick nursery features light, airy rooms that allow for imaginative play and effortless creativity, along with access to expansive outdoor play areas, complete with secure, multi-surface spaces.Nestled along the A659, within close proximity to the M1, our nursery offers exceptional commuter links to York, Leeds, Harrogate, and the surrounding area. Role Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Required Qualifications: Ideal Candidate:
Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Passionate about fostering childrens development and creating positive relationships with families.
