Our client who have offices across the North of England are seeking two proactive People Business Partners to join their dynamic People team.

One of the roles is a FTC for up to 18 months to cover a maternity leave, the other role is permanent.

As People Business Partner, you will partner closely with business leaders to implement and drive business strategy and manage organisational changes through impactful people-related strategies. Your goal will be to optimise workforce development and enhance workplace culture, positioning colleague experience at the core of all initiatives.

The People team’s overall objective is to ensure a seamless employee experience that fosters a productive and engaging workplace. By developing strategic workforce plans and leading innovative people initiatives, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the workforce. This position offers a unique opportunity to truly impact the organisation’s operational success and enhance the professional lives of their colleagues.

They are committed to excellence, focusing on strategic workforce planning, talent mapping, succession planning, and the integration of diversity and inclusion across all practices. You will coach and support senior management, helping them to implement effective people strategies that align with long-term business goals.

We are seeking someone who is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in a senior people role within a complex, unionised environment. Your ability to influence and drive decision-making at all levels, coupled with your expertise in project management and risk management, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

Salary is up to £68k and there are some wonderful benefits too.

Locations – candidates will need to be based close to either Manchester, Leeds or York.
