Cerebra Search is proud to be partnering with this fast-growing renewable energy developer, as they continue building out an industry-leading investment team.

About the company:

A rapidly growing renewable power start-up, established in 2021 by some of the most successful renewable energy entrepreneurs in the industry, and backed by a leading private equity fund and a FTSE 100 utility, they are developing utility-scale assets, covering solar, wind, BESS and green hydrogen, in key markets.

They have already raised c.£50m in capital which has enabled them to build a project development pipeline of 3GW across the US, UK, Italy and Spain.

What you will be doing:

This role will be a key member of the investment team, being involved in all aspects of company investments including own developments and deal activity. This will include supporting the senior team with investment evaluation, securing internal approvals, managing diligence processes and advisors.

There will be significant input and support from the senior leadership team on all aspects of investments, and a key requirement will be communicating and influencing effectively internally and externally.

Build financial models to support solar, wind and BESS development/investment activities. Coordinate, monitor and report financial progression of projects in development. Support CIO and/or Investment Manager with the assessment of potential (co-)development opportunities or acquisitions. Monitor, analyse and report on relevant transactions and valuation references.

A bit about you:

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious professional who wants to become an instrumental part of a growing team.

3-5 years’ experience in private equity/infrastructure fund, financial advisor (M&A) or renewable energy developer Good understanding of renewable energy development especially solar and wind Strong financial modelling, investment appraisal and market analysis skills Commercial mindset, pro-active and solution oriented Attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment with entrepreneurial mindset.
