We’re looking for an Actuarial Pricing Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an Actuarial Pricing Analyst within our Insurance Team. In this role you will support the insurance team by conducting high quality analysis of pricing trends, monitoring the performance of the business, and identifying areas of opportunity to aid growth and profitability.

Building pricing models and monitoring the performance to provide insight into performance.
Delivering high quality data analytical activities to support pricing changes and business opportunities.
Monitoring the written loss ratios in our Motor and Home portfolios and supporting analysis to understand claims inflationary trends.
Proactively researching and implementing the use of new statistical analyses, machine learning and automation to improve processes.
Communicating the results of the modelling and analytical work effectively in non-technical language to peers and stakeholders.
Highly computer literate; able to use excel and other common data analysis and data processing/modelling software.
Strong appetite and ability to research new modelling techniques, particularly experience using R and Python.
Ability to explain complex analysis in plain English, avoiding the use of jargon and acronyms and able to communicate the material financial implications of modelling and analysis decisions.
Able to appropriately balance statistical accuracy with financial materiality.
Able to apply judgement where data may be sparse or insufficient in quality or where considerable uncertainty surrounds the range of potential outcomes.
