Job Description/Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the companys accounting function including:

Ensuring complete and accurate Monthly Cost Reporting

Manage Accounts Payable process

Responsible for Sales invoice processing, cash collection and liaising with Clients

Manage Payroll process

Responsible for daily bank administration including bank reconciliations, weekly and monthly payment processing and cash flow forecasting

Administration of IR35 / VAT / CIS including returns

Financial Accounting activity including journal entries, Profit and Loss Account reconciliations, financial analysis and Audit preparation

Develop and recommend / implement process improvements

Preparation of government statistical returns

Departmental reviews to include Risk and Opportunity Reporting and Budget reviews

Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified or qualified by experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in the construction sector is highly preferred.

Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software.

Strong IT skills particularly with MS office

Knowledge of CIS and its application in the construction industry.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within the team and with external partners.
