About the Role
Architect and implement best-in-class cloud services aligned with DevOps principles.
Establish and maintain cloud best practices across the organisation.
Guide cloud strategy in line with GDS Service Manual and Technology Code of Practice.
Monitor cloud services and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manage cloud risks and ensure data security and privacy.
Foster a cloud-first culture and mentor team members.
Collaborate with the Cloud Center of Excellence to achieve accreditations.
Enable multi-cloud connectivity through design and development.
Develop and optimise cloud migration processes.
Participate in design authority tasks and create comprehensive handover documentation.
Embrace a hybrid work model with on-site presence in Corsham, Wiltshire.

What You'll Need
Proven AWS expertise with AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
Hands-on experience as a Cloud Architect.
Strong understanding of cloud computing models and Infrastructure-as-Code.
Alignment with UK Government's Technology Code of Practice.
Proficiency in source control tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience in Agile delivery and DevOps environments.
Knowledge of Service Operations and ITIL.
Track record in cloud operations and support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
UK government SC clearance or eligibility.
