Location: Preston Hourly Rate: £24 per hour (CIS) Hours: 40 hours per week Position Type: Long-term About the Role: I am seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a team in Preston. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with pumps. This role offers the opportunity to shadow a seasoned professional for approximately 2 months ahead of their retirement, providing a smooth transition into a long-term position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, particularly pumps.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
  • Familiarity with pumps and chemical.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
