GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a reputable Legal 500 firm based in the West Midlands. We are supporting their recruitment for a Residential Property Paralegal to join their Shirley office on a full time, permanent basis.

This position is working Monday - Thursday 09:00am - 17:30pm and Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join their busy Residential Property team, preferably someone who is a bilingual, Polish/English speaking candidate who has a passion for Residential Conveyancing.

Residential Property Paralegal main duties:

* Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness.

* Issue draft contract.

* Submit AP1 Making applications to facilitate the registration of legal Title at the Land Registry.

* Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence.

* Updating the case management system/client systems as appropriate to ensure compliance.

* Undertaking training as appropriate. This may include (but is not limited to) firm training, regulatory training, and developmental training (if appropriate).

* Answer and direct phone calls.

* To assist Conveyancers in the management of their caseload by undertaking legal procedures as supervised by the Conveyancer.

* To assist Conveyancers with file related queries, either by telephone or face-to-face, ensuring client service levels and client standards are always adhered to.

* To ensure that clients are dealt with efficiently and politely and that appropriate legal matters are raised with the Conveyancer.

* To attend to clients, taking instructions, and conducting letter and telephone enquiries as necessary.

* Passionate about people and the Residential Property sector

* Have the ability to speak and write or translate in Polish and English is preferable but not essential.

* An ambitious, motivated individual paralegal looking for a long-term career development.

* You will have gained experience within a similar setting supporting fee earners within a busy Residential Property Team.
